PATCHWORK PUZZLE PIECES

My concept was to take fabrics and garments and fuse them together in order to create a collage of clothing as a garment, just as you would with taking scraps of paper to create a collage. Each garment had different shapes, sizes, textures, weights, and colors of fabrics. I pieced them together like a puzzle to create garments. The fabrics used to create my pieces are sustainable, as I only worked with textile waste and recycled scrap pieces as a material base. These fabrics are sustainable because I used clothes from thrift stores as well as old garments to that were taken apart and reused.
